CountryHouse in Cumberland Once Again Named to U.S. News and World Report’s Best Senior Living for Memory Care List

CountryHouse in Cumberland, Maryland, was recently named to U.S. News and World Report’s Best Senior Living for Memory Care list for the second straight year. CountryHouse in Cumberland is led by Executive Director Nicole King and Memory Care Manager Megan Sgaggero. Located near historic downtown Cumberland, alongside the Potomac River and the Great Allegheny Passage, the community provides exceptional care for those with all types of dementia. For more than 20 years, it’s stood as Cumberland’s only community that’s completely dedicated to providing memory care. Up to 22 residents make the community their home away from home.

The Best Senior Living list assists seniors and their families with researching and choosing the best senior living community for them. Now in its fourth year, U.S. News analyzed 400,000 survey responses from residents and their family members at more than 3,500 senior living communities nationwide to compile their 2024 rankings. The top-rated communities for each level of care have been rated Best Senior Living in their categories.

CountryHouse is owned and managed by Agemark Senior Living. In addition to CountryHouse in Cumberland’s second straight year making the list, sixteen additional Agemark communities made the list for 2024.
