CountryHouse in Kearney is a lovely, homelike community located close to historical and cultural museums, family-friendly activities and a lively downtown area. Since 2015, we’ve been serving families in the local area by providing exceptional, loving memory care to their loved ones with dementia.

The heart of CountryHouse really shines through in our people. Our team members understand the difference between caring and giving care, and they’re committed to infusing our philosophy of treating people like family into everything they do.
| Brandie Hesson-Bullard started as Executive Director of CountryHouse in Kearney in December 2021. She relocated to Nebraska, her home state, from Washington to join our team. Before joining CountryHouse, she served as Community Relations Director at a senior living community in Olympia, WA. In addition to her work in senior living, Brandie has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, in general management, revenue management, catering management and sales. Her first foray into senior living occurred when she was a child. Her mother was an activities director in senior living, and Brandie would spend time with the residents in her community. Brandie’s family includes her adult son, Austen, his wife, Taylor, and AJ, who is four years old. In her spare time, Brandie enjoys being outside – fishing, hiking, hunting, gardening and archery are some of her favorite activities. She’s also a proud pup parent. |

Jennifer is our Administrative Assistant. She joined the CountryHouse team as a CNA in 2018, becoming a CMA in 2020 and promoted to her current position on June 2022. She loves to help others. She has a soft spot for the elderly and tries to impact their day with love and joy as much as she can. The friends here are her family. She is originally from Grand Island, NE but have lived in Holyoke, Colorado, Lexington, NE, and Kearney, NE throughout her childhood. She is currently engaged to her high school sweetheart of 8 years. They have a dog named Bruno who is a mixed terrier. On her time off, she enjoys working out, bike riding, and hanging out with her family. |

Misty joined our community as a Wellness Assistant in 2018. She previously worked at Mother Hull as a Med Aide and CNA. She loves what the elderly has to offer. They bring smiles to her face every day. She is originally from Amherst NE and has been married for 21 years. She has three kids and two grandsons. She likes to challenge herself by going to the gym and striving to keep herself as healthy as possible. |
