Our Leaders

The heart of CountryHouse really shines through in our people. Our team members understand the difference between caring and giving care, and they’re committed to infusing our philosophy of treating people like family into everything they do.

Beth Gonnerman joined the CountryHouse team in May 2020. A 25-year veteran of healthcare administration, she previously spent time as a long-term care, assisted living and memory care administrator and also held positions in acute care and outpatient services. Her first experience in senior living was as an activities director at a long-term care facility. It was here where she developed a passion for serving seniors.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion. She later earned her Master’s in Management and Leadership from Doane University. She holds certifications as an Assisted Living Administrator, is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Beth and her husband, Kevin, have been married for 35 years and have three grown children, Ellyn, Hannah and Sam. They are proud grandparents of Finley, Daniel and Myles. They also have a dog, Murphy, and a cat, Harry.

“I am so thrilled and honored to work for Agemark. I chose to join this company because of their vision to treat people like family! I have worked and partnered with several healthcare companies and industries and none compare to the culture and philosophy at Agemark.”

Natasha Kirk serves as CountryHouse in Elkhorn’s Senior Living Consultant. In her role, she works closely with families considering memory care for their loved ones. She loves getting to know residents and their families personally. She also enjoys building relationships with local professionals in the healthcare industry.

A 15-year veteran of sales of marketing, Natasha has spent the past 8 years working in healthcare. Her first experience in senior living came while she was in college, where she worked for a local community as a life-enrichment assistant.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a master’s degree in in Management with a specialization in Healthcare Marketing and Management from Kaplan University in Chicago, IL.

In her free time, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She particularly enjoys being outdoors – camping, fishing, hiking, and kayaking with her husband and bulldog by her side.

“I was honored with I was extended the offer to work for CountryHouse. We take Memory Care to another level and truly embrace treating staff and residents like family. I have worked for other senior living organizations over the years and I really feel that this is a beautiful, compassionate environment for residents in our care.”

John Hall joined the team at CountryHouse in Elkhorn in June 2022. As the Director of Nursing, he’ll work diligently to ensure the physical health of all residents of the community.

He is a 1995 graduate of Clarkson College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. He is a registered nurse with more than 25 years experience in a variety of areas. After beginning his career at Clarkson Hospital, he worked at a skilled nursing community and later at Midlands Hospital. From there, he spent 17 years as a nurse in the insurance industry. His move to CountryHouse marks a return to senior care, something that John greatly enjoys.

John and his wife, Denise, have two daughters: Krissy and Danielle. In his spare time, John loves to camp, golf, fish, and follow the Huskers, Chiefs and Royals. Born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska, Omaha has been his home since 1992.

“I really desired a return to caring for seniors and here at CountryHouse, I’m able to do just that. I love our welcoming environment, our mission to treat all in our care like family. I also enjoy getting to know residents. I absolutely love my job.”

Jeania Bartlett joined team CountryHouse in July 2022. In her role as the community’s administrative assistant, she works to ensure the community runs as smoothly as possible, serving as a right hand to our Executive Director.

Her first foray into senior living came in 1996, where a job as an administrative assistant at a community in Idaho quickly transitioned into roles in marketing and advertising in the same community. After two years in that role, she made a career shift and worked in insurance sales, as a loan officer, a patient care coordinator, a flight attendant and as a supervisor and welder on submarines. Directly prior to joining CountryHouse, she worked at Boys Town.

Jeania and her husband are natives of the pacific northwest. They have six grown children and many grandchildren. Jeania was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and loves the outdoors, particularly waterskiing and spending time around a campfire. She and her family believe in giving back to others, and do so through their ministry, “Pure Game,” which works to assist youth struggling with addiction.

“I love working with our residents and showing them love and compassion. During a busy workday, breaking away from work to share a meal with them, or taking a short walk hand-in-hand is the greatest gift.”

Kimberly Duckworth is the Life Enrichment Coach at CountryHouse in Elkhorn. In her role, she works to ensure the physical, spiritual, intellectual and social health of all residents in the community.

Kimberly brings a wealth of experience with seniors to CountryHouse. She holds a certificate in gerontology and phlebotomy and completed the activity director program at Iowa Western. Additionally, she spent time as a CNA, a CMA and is a certified dementia practitioner.

She was prompted to join the CountryHouse team after visiting a friend, a resident of CountryHouse that she’d previously worked with at another community. The welcoming atmosphere, caring staff and home-like feel of our community made an impression. The rest is history!

Kimberly and her husband have four grown children and four grandchildren. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys camping, biking, kayaking and spending time outside. She also enjoys reading and is teaching herself the piano.

“I’ve loved being around seniors since I was a little girl. Having the opportunity to care for them and bring joy to their lives is something I cherish.”

He enjoys socializing with them, learning about their preferences and creating special meals upon request. He sees his work as a great privilege and desires to create meaningful days for residents by making meal time enjoyable and delicious.

He and his wife, Caroline, have been married for more than twenty years. They have two grown sons, Joe and Jack. Together, the family enjoys fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with their three dogs: Charlie, Lola and Sadie.
