Our Leaders

The heart of CountryHouse really shines through in our people. Our team members understand the difference between caring and giving care, and they’re committed to infusing our philosophy of treating people like family into everything they do.

Brandie Hesson-Bullard started as Executive Director of CountryHouse in Kearney in December 2021. She relocated to Nebraska, her home state, from Washington to join our team. Before joining CountryHouse, she served as Community Relations Director at a senior living community in Olympia, WA.

In addition to her work in senior living, Brandie has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, in general management, revenue management, catering management and sales.

Her first foray into senior living occurred when she was a child. Her mother was an activities director in senior living, and Brandie would spend time with the residents in her community.

Brandie’s family includes her adult son, Austen, his wife, Taylor, and AJ, who is four years old. In her spare time, Brandie enjoys being outside – fishing, hiking, hunting, gardening and archery are some of her favorite activities. She’s also a proud pup parent.

“I love working with seniors. It gives me such happiness and purpose. The CountryHouse community is incredible. We make a huge difference for residents and their families. I am so passionate about what we do!”

Amanda Feldman, RN, is our community’s Director of Nursing. In her role, she ensures the physical wellness of all who reside at CountryHouse.

She began her career in health care as a CNA at age 16. From there, she held various positions including as an outpatient infusion RN at Kearney Regional Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Group. She earned her LPN, RN and BSN all from Kaplan University, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nursing.

Amanda was born and raised in Gibbon, NE and moved to Kearney in 2018. She and her husband, Josh, have four children: Ava, Alana, Max and Aero. The family enjoys spending time together and with extended family members in the area.

“I had always heard positive things about CountryHouse, people often spoke about what a wonderful community it was. I’m happy to say they were right – I’m honored to be part of such a wonderful community and company. Our culture is wonderful and we treat everyone like family.”
