Our Community

Our Leaders

The heart of CountryHouse really shines through in our people. Our team members understand the difference between caring and giving care, and they’re committed to infusing our philosophy of treating people like family into everything they do.

“When I used to visit memory care communities across the state and had the chance to visit a CountryHouse, I would always tell my family, ‘I do not want to leave the Alzheimer’s Association, but if I do, it will be to work at a CountryHouse!’ I was always impressed by the compassionate care and the resident engagement. It was easy to believe in the mission as an outsider, and now, as an employee, I know how hard we work to provide the best care possible!”

Erinn Drouin has served as Executive Director at CountryHouse in Omaha since February 2019.

Prior to CountryHouse, Erinn Drouin worked for the Nebraska Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as the State Director of Development for four years. In her time there, she managed the largest Walk to End Alzheimer’s event, developed outreach tools, generated $1.2 million dollars annually for Alzheimer’s research and awareness, and served on the National Walk Advisory Council. Prior to her time with the Alzheimer’s Association, she worked for the American Cancer Society and served various roles in banking and finance.

Erinn is a certified dementia practitioner, a certified assisted living administrator and is a certified community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association.

She enjoys working directly alongside families and those living with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia and has developed a wonderful understanding of the difficulties of the disease. She is well equipped to offer advice, support, a helping hand or a listening ear to those who are walking the journey with their loved ones.

Erinn and her husband have two children, Alex and Kate. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly loves insects and animals and appreciating the beauty all around them.
