Our first Lincoln CountryHouse stands strong after 12 years of helping families care for their loved ones with memory loss. Located in a charming neighborhood but near shopping and restaurants, our cozy community is home to 32 residents at capacity. Our loving and caring staff is ready to take excellent care of your loved one. 

Two sister locations are located at 84th and Pine Lake and 70th and O in Lincoln.

Our Leaders

The heart of CountryHouse really shines through in our people. Our team members understand the difference between caring and giving care, and they’re committed to infusing our philosophy of treating people like family into everything they do.

Michelle Connot-Qualley, RN, has served as Executive Director at CountryHouse in Lincoln since February 2021. She offers more than 20 years of experience in assisted living, memory care and long-term care. Prior to her current role, she was a Director of Nursing at communities in Seward, Omaha and Lincoln. 

She is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holds her assisted living administrator license. 

Michelle holds a special interested in dementia care, and enjoys helping residents live their best lives despite their diagnosis. She also loves building strong relationships with residents and their families. 

Michelle and her husband, Kris, have four children and five granddaughters. 

Kelsi Hutchison joined the CountryHouse team in March 2020. Since this time, she’s worked diligently to assist local families who are seeking exceptional memory care for their loved one with dementia. She knows that choosing memory care is a tough and emotional decision, and she works closely with with families who are navigating that often overwhelming process, to provide support and guidance. Kelsi not only supports the community at 25th and Old Cheney, but also sister communities at 70th and O and 84th and Pine Lake. 

Kelsi attended Doane University, where she eared a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations. She also holds a Long-Term Care Administration Certificate from Southeast Community College. Prior to her time at CountryHouse, Kelsi held various roles in healthcare and senior living, including as a Phlebotomist at Nebraska Lablinc, an Account Executive for Labcorp, as well as roles in Life Enrichment and as a Medication Aide for several local senior living communities. 

She and her husband, Cody, make their home in Lincoln. They were married on the same day as her beloved grandparents. They have a yellow lab, Boone, and a cat, Norah. Together, they enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Mary Zordel is our community’s Dining Manager. She first joined the Agemark family as a cook at another Lincoln CountryHouse, where she worked for nearly two years. After a short stint away, she rejoined CountryHouse in September 2019. 

She brings a variety of food service experience to her role, including 15 years as a Kitchen Manager at Lazlo’s and one year as a Kitchen Lead at Gina’s Cafe, both in Lincoln.

Mary enjoys warming the hearts (and filling the bellies) of all CountryHouse residents. Seeing smiles on their faces brings her great joy.

Mary has two daughters, two sons-in-law and eight grandchildren: 2 girls and 6 boys. In her spare time, she loves being with family, cooking, hiking, theatre and music.
