Kelly Hranac joined the CountryHouse team in April 2020. A true leader with passion for caring for individuals with memory impairment, Kelly served as director at a local memory care community for four years. Prior to that, she was a clinic nurse and charge nurse at a local nursing home. A graduate of Central Community College, she earned her LPN in 2013 and holds certifications as an Assisted Living Administrator and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
She has served as event chair for the Grand Island Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease and volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association, Project Hunger, the Nebraska State Fair, Teammates Mentoring Program and Dog Stars Obedience Training.
“It is my happy place to be able to work, care for, love, enjoy and get to know this special group of individuals. What a privilege it is to have these folks living with us during their most vulnerable, but valued years! At CountryHouse, we have a family-centered atmosphere. We want staff, residents, family members and guests to feel welcomed and comfortable.”
A native of Albion, Nebraska, Kelly and her husband, Phil, are proud parents of a son, Henry, born in 2021. They’re also pet parents to a German Shepard, Piper. Both Henry and Piper are regular visitors to CountryHouse Grand Island and put smiles on the faces of residents.
