Our first Lincoln CountryHouse stands strong after 12 years of helping families care for their loved ones with memory loss. Located in a charming neighborhood but near shopping and restaurants, our cozy community is home to 32 residents at capacity. Our loving and caring staff is ready to take excellent care of your loved one. 

Two sister locations are located at 84th and Pine Lake and 70th and O in Lincoln.

Our Leaders

The heart of CountryHouse really shines through in our people. Our team members understand the difference between caring and giving care, and they’re committed to infusing our philosophy of treating people like family into everything they do.

Michelle Connot-Qualley, RN, has served as Executive Director at CountryHouse in Lincoln since February 2021. She offers more than 20 years of experience in assisted living, memory care and long-term care. Prior to her current role, she was a Director of Nursing at communities in Seward, Omaha and Lincoln. 

She is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holds her assisted living administrator license. 

Michelle holds a special interested in dementia care, and enjoys helping residents live their best lives despite their diagnosis. She also loves building strong relationships with residents and their families. 

Michelle and her husband, Kris, have four children and five granddaughters. 

Chloe has been part of the CountryHouse team since April 2023. Her passion for working with older adults is rooted in both personal calling and academic dedication. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Family Sciences from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, along with minors in Gerontology, Sociology, and Psychology. She later completed her master’s degree in Social Gerontology from the University of Nebraska–Omaha.

Before joining CountryHouse, she gained meaningful experience through roles at Better Living Counseling Services, supervising foster children during visits with their parents and providing parenting education—and as an intern at Visiting Angels, a non-medical caregiving company for seniors. She also worked for the State of Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services, processing background checks in the Central Registry department.

Born and raised in Lincoln, she has always felt a strong connection to her community. She finds great joy in learning from older adults, appreciating the unique wisdom and perspective that comes from connecting across generations. She shares her life with her husband, and their dog, who loves trips to the park. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, attending concerts, and playing volleyball.

As District Senior Living Consultant, Becky brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare and senior care to her role. Her career has spanned a wide range of specialties, including Durable Medical and Respiratory Equipment, Home Health Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Independent Living, and Assisted Living. Becky is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), reflecting her deep commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults. A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Business Administration, Becky pairs strong academic foundations with decades of hands-on expertise. Her diverse background and passion for service make her a valuable resource to families and communities navigating senior care options.

Becky considers it a privilege to play a crucial role in the lives of residents and their families during significant transitional moments. Her passion lies in helping individuals navigate and transition through different levels of care, witnessing the success and peace they experience along the way—a truly gratifying aspect of her career.

Residing in Lincoln with her husband, Jeff, Becky’s family includes young adult sons and a delightful cat named Chuck, who provides more entertainment than expected. Beyond her professional endeavors, Becky and her family are avid Husker fans, relishing the excitement of attending Husker Football games in the fall. Additionally, they share a love for the vibrant atmosphere of Las Vegas. Becky’s multifaceted experiences and genuine passion for enriching the lives of residents make her an invaluable asset to the Agemark community and CountryHouse.

Timothy Sherwood, the Building Supervisor at CountryHouse I, brings an extensive background in public service to his current role. Having served as Captain at Lincoln Fire Rescue for an impressive 38 years, Timothy’s dedication to community safety has been a cornerstone of his career.

Armed with Associate Degrees in Fire Science from SCC Lincoln, Timothy’s expertise in fire safety and emergency response has been honed through years of hands-on experience. The transition to his role as Building Supervisor at CountryHouse I was a natural fit when a maintenance position became available.

Timothy’s commitment to maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment is evident in his approach to building management. His wealth of knowledge, garnered from nearly four decades in fire rescue, is a valuable asset in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff at CountryHouse I. His dedication to service, coupled with his skill set, makes Timothy an integral part of the CountryHouse community.
